Everyone asks me why do I do these clinics.  Well, it's because I can combine two passions.  First, I am able to help local cancer patients and their families get the best access to education, support services, treatments and ultimately cures. That's what the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is all about and after one year of being engaged in their mission as Executive Director, there is no where else I would rather be. Seeing the difference we are making for local cancer patients continues to touch my heart.

Second, I have the opportunity to share my hockey knowledge and experience with the next generation of future NHL'ers. My goal is to give back every way I can because I have been so fortunate to have made it to level that I did.  I had wonderful coaches growing up who volunteered their time to make me better.  Now it is time to return the favour.
